We are now at 5 days until Mike and I leave for Indonesia- rest assure our kiddos, home and Honey will be busy and in good hands in our absence. Surely they will enjoy their time in our home with family while we are away (to our relief and very blessed to have their help)!
Our bags are almost packed- I found it challenging yet exciting to have to pack for the beach, a rainy jungle and winter weather! Luckily I found rain boots that won't take up too much of my luggage space.
As I review our itinerary I have decided to blog our trip under the post title of Eight Days Around the World. I am naming it that because it is 24,000 miles around the earth at the equator and we are going to be traveling a total of 26,151 miles- HOLY HECK, right? :) We are anxious to travel to places beyond our wildest dreams like, Bali, Tembagapura and New York not to forget our layovers in Hong Kong, Vancouver and Charlotte. Even typing that validates that we are really (almost) traveling around the world!!
